Textured Velvet Prayer Mat (Janamaz) – Lattice Mihrab Embroidery

A quilted textured-velvet prayer mat (janamaz) with a wide mihrab arch filled with embroidered diamond lattice (jaali), two lattice columns down the sides and a hanging lantern motif in the centre. The whole mat is quilted in a large ogee pattern over a padded grey backing, so it lies flat and stays comfortable in sujood.

• Woven binding on both long sides, matching fringe on both ends
